About the Training:

We believe every great gathering starts with a well-equipped host. That’s why all Hosts and Heroes complete our Happiness Hub Training & Certification, designed to help you lead with heart, confidence, and care.
Based on the peer support training models, our training isn’t just about logistics. It’s about learning the emotional insight, communication skills, and trauma-informed understanding that help every member feel seen, safe, and valued in your space.
Get confident, connected and certified in 3 simple steps:
Component 1: Online Onboarding (approx 30 mins)
A friendly one-on-one session with a HH team member to guide you through how to access and navigate the self-paced training.
Component 2: Self-Paced eLearning (approx 4 hours)
Learn in your own time with engaging, reflective modules covering active listening, peer support, group dynamics and leading with care.
Component 3: Practice Session (2 hours)
Bring your learning to life in a relaxed group session (online or in person). Talk through scenarios, share ideas, build confidence, and connect with fellow Hosts and Heroes.
Your trainer is Madeleine, the founder of Happiness Hub and a passionate community connector.
With years of experience creating inclusive spaces and supporting peer-led groups through EPIC, Madeleine brings heart, insight, and practical know-how to every session. She’ll guide you with warmth, wisdom, and a good dose of encouragement—so you feel confident, capable, and connected from the start.tion text goes here

About the Earnings:

Hosts earn by running paid events—set your own ticket price and keep 90% of the income. We handle the bookings, payments, and promo so you can focus on the experience.

Example: You charge $20 for a craft night with 10 attendees. You earn $180, and we keep $20 to cover platform support.
HH promotes your events, manages sign-ups and payments, and provides templates, checklists, and ongoing support. You bring the vibe! We’ve got your back behind the scenes.

Example: You create the event idea, we help you post it, promote it, and make sure it runs smoothly.
Absolutely! You choose what to charge—or offer events for free. Some Hosts mix it up: a free community cuppa one week, a ticketed cooking class the next.
Example: Zoe runs a free monthly cuppa catch-up and a paid painting session every second month.
